Dixie Reppe - Interim Managing DirectorInterim Managing Director Dixie Reppe is the former executive director of the YWCA Tulsa, but has a considerable familiarity with Tulsa Opera dating back many years.

Dixie graduated cum laude, was named to Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities and was recognized by the University of Arizona as an Outstanding Woman in Education.

In addition to previous board service with Tulsa Opera, Reppe has also served on the Executive Committee of Tulsa Area United Way, the YWCA of Tulsa, The Tulsa Delta Gamma Alumnae, and Friends of the Library Board. She’s been a PTA president in three states and served on the school board in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She received the Tulsa Public Schools Volunteer of the Year Award; Excellence Award from Opera Guilds International for outstanding contributions to the world of opera; and the national Delta Gamma Oxford Award for outstanding service to the community. She has initiated numerous community projects, most notably the Tulsa Area United Way Day of Caring, the largest project of its kind in the United States.

She and her husband Rod have raised three sons and now enjoy spending time with their three grandchildren.
