Get Floored at the Opera!
Season tickets are available to educators at the deeply discounted price of only $65 for orchestra-level seats for the remainder of the 2011-2012 season. That includes the Oklahoma premiere of Dead Man Walking and the return of Puccini’s romantic classic, Madame Butterfly! Present your teacher I.D. at the Tulsa Opera ticket office, 1610 S. Boulder Ave., or call (918) 587-4811, to receive orchestra seats (Friday and Saturday performances only) for the rest of the season. Offer is limited to two tickets per teacher and applies to pre-paid season subscriptions only. Hurry — teacher subscriptions will only be sold through February 25, 2012!
Coming Attractions Teacher Workshops
Each year Tulsa Opera offers a free workshop introducing educators to the upcoming season, Opera on Tour! and Tulsa Opera Education’s other initiatives. The workshop also features performances by Tulsa Opera’s studio artists. Teachers are given a complete packet of information and lesson planning materials related to the upcoming season, and professional development credit is awarded.
