Opera Insights 101 and 202

These FREE workshops introduce educators to all of the operas featured in Tulsa Opera’s 2007-2008 Season: Tosca, Lakmé and The Magic Flute.  Opera Insights 101 provides teachers with introductory materials for easy integration of opera into their classrooms.  Materials include: study guides with a plot synopsis for each opera, handouts for the classroom, a 2007-2008 Season CD of musical highlights, and information on all education and outreach programs that will be offered during Tulsa Opera’s 60th-anniversary season. And…by popular demand from our teacher partners, Opera Insights 202 presents an in-depth look into each individual opera for those teachers who have already integrated opera into their curriculum.  This 60-90 minute workshop is packed with information, music, door prizes, and refreshments.
