The 52ndOpera Ball – March 31 at Southern Hills Country Club – an elegant evening of dinner and dancing where this season’s debutantes and squires are presented. This year’s Opera Ball chair is Donna F. Wood. Squire chair is Cadijah “Cip” Frizzell and Kelly Jezek is serving as debutante chairman.
Tulsa Opera Ball follows traditions set forth at the first event where each girl is presented on the arm of her father wearing a long white gown with elbow length white gloves. In 1988, the presentation of squires was added to recognize the young men who are in formal tuxedo tails. Tickets for the evening are $250 with a portion that is donated to the educational programs of Tulsa Opera and considered tax deductible.
